ABOUT ME
I was 14 years old when I sketched my first Salwar Kameez and saw it come to life using one of my mom’s old sarees. In college, I sketched clothes as therapy to get me through some tough times. Eventually, I became a nurse by trade, but the passion for designing clothes never went away! I always dreamt of having my own boutique and being able to share my designs with others. After seeing my creations made for family, friends, college dance teams, friends of friends, etc., my parents encouraged me to take this dream of mine and turn it into reality! I know this is not your typical boutique, but then again, I’m not your typical girl. I am so excited to have you take part in this journey with me!
OUR MISSION
I have always believed in giving back whenever and however I could. When I decided to start Pragati Jay, I told myself that this is the perfect opportunity to continue doing so. With that, a portion of every purchase made will be donated to a charity of your choice.
